The Quality, R&D, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, and Information Security Policy of INES Ingenieros Consultores is to deliver projects that comply with applicable legislation, standards and regulations, as well as customer expectations, fulfilling the terms of their contract or order, current environmental legislation and the environmental requirements voluntarily adopted by Management, all within a rigorous commitment to protecting and preserving the environment and to preserving the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information we manage.
Context and Integrated Management System
In its activities of building and civil engineering structural design, asset engineering (inspection, monitoring, assessment of structures in use, repair and extension projects for existing structures) and structural engineering innovation projects, INES Ingenieros Consultores maintains direct and ongoing contact with nature, which makes us especially sensitive to its protection and to the need to preserve natural resources in order to achieve sustainable development.
Within the Information Security Management System (ISMS), whose scope covers the design, development, operation, maintenance and support of the i3met platform and associated cloud services, the organisation recognises the importance of protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and of assets associated with the software lifecycle, ensuring management of information security risks and continuity of the services provided.

The company includes among its values conducting its activities with the utmost respect for the Environment and ensures that they are carried out within a Management System that minimises environmental impact.

- Establish processes capable of guaranteeing the above, considering that environmentally respectful behaviour is an integral part of every employee's work, in a context of continuous improvement.
- Permanent commitment to compliance with environmental, occupational health and safety legislation and regulations, as well as applicable intellectual property, personal data protection and information security laws, and requirements subscribed by INES with interested parties.
- Comply with UNE-EN ISO 56001:2024 and promote strategic, cultural, organisational and operational innovation, as well as R&D projects related to structural engineering and conservation of Spain's historical-industrial heritage, ensuring confidentiality of results before exploitation.
- Promote cooperation with external entities to achieve a high level of knowledge, technological performance and adoption of new technologies in our work.
- Establish a methodology for protecting and exploiting results from R&D activities aimed at improving the company's competitiveness and market position.
- Maintain communication internally and with customers, public authorities and other interested parties on all elements of the Management System.
- Develop a continuous improvement policy for the whole organisation, setting annual objectives to improve product quality and performance in R&D, environment, occupational health and safety, and information security.
- Encourage employee development, facilitating access to training plans in technical, environmental, occupational health and safety, and information security awareness (cybersecurity) fields, according to each role.
- Promote resource conservation through recycling and reuse, ensuring processes consider reduction of raw materials, energy and water.
- Do the job right first time, as a permanent attitude for everyone; focus efforts on error prevention and anticipation and mitigation of security incidents.
- Prevent and reduce, as far as possible, pollution generated by our activities, taking all measures within our reach to prevent environmental accidents or minimise their effects.
- Ensure proper condition of facilities and adequate equipment, as well as technical robustness and logical security of servers, networks and storage systems.
- Ensure business resilience and continuity in the face of contingencies or serious security incidents through defined and tested continuity plans.
- Offer periodic health surveillance to all employees and provide safe and healthy working conditions.
- Make the prevention plan, risk assessment and preventive activity planning available to all workers, and inform them of generic and specific risks of their position.
- Facilitate consultation and participation of workers in occupational health and safety matters.
- Make this policy publicly available.
