Tools and modelling

BIMDynamix streamlines bridge modelling in Revit from the analytical alignment in Civil 3D. It systematically generates the main structure, deck slab, edge beams and railings from a single data input: detailed, consistent models that adapt to changes.

What it does

  1. 01Civil 3D + Revit

Imports the Civil 3D alignment so the bridge is perfectly aligned with the road or rail design.

  2. 02Automatic modelling

    • Main structure: girders or box sections, piers, slabs, edge beams and railings.
    • Slabs adapted to longitudinal and cross slopes and superelevation.
    • Diaphragms, stiffeners and bracing of piers and abutments, in high detail.
  3. 03Advanced parametrisation

Dimensions, materials and properties adjustable in seconds.

  4. 04Optimised BIM workflow

Much less modelling time and fewer manual errors.

  5. 05Scalable

Adapts to different bridge types and supports drainage, expansion joints and more.

  6. 06Collaboration

Brings road, rail and structural design together in a coordinated BIM model.

From alignment to bridge

The Revit model inherits the alignment geometry, so any change to the axis carries through to the bridge without redoing it by hand.

Complex geometry, no repetitive work

Curves, superelevation and variable-depth girders come from rules, not hand drawing: if the alignment changes, the model regenerates itself.
