InesSpecialTransports
Special transport passage over structures, calculated automatically
It receives the request, cross-checks the route with the inventory, calculates every bridge and clearance, and replies with a report.
Data processing and analysis
A module for bridge inventory systems that automatically receives and reads requests by email, locates the structures along the route, checks clearances, generates and runs finite element models to determine whether each structure can take the load, and publishes and communicates the results.
What it does
01Request intake
Automatic reading of each request, with a document record of the input files and those generated, and a searchable database.
02Numerical calculation
Passage of the vehicle over each structure on the route, compared with the load models of the standard in force in its year of construction.
03Clearance analysis
Clearance checks at every structure the transport passes over or under.
04Results report
General prescription for the route and specific prescription for each structure: suitable or not, traffic closures or special measures, clearances and a summary of the transport.
Vehicles that do not fit the rules
Special transports exceed the general traffic regulations in size or load and need explicit permission from each road authority, which must check clearances and the capacity of every structure along the route. With a complete, detailed asset inventory, this module processes those requests automatically, work that would otherwise take many hours of manual effort.
Cloud architecture
From storage to computation: relational and non-relational databases, serverless applications and high-capacity servers.
Automatic and modular
Each part runs as an autonomous process. If something fails, it is fixed and only that process is re-run.
Traceability
Logs and traceability documents accessible to monitor the system and identify improvements.
